Part I

• Read the article carefully and answer the following questions.

• Email me through attachment with “cybersafety” as subject.

  2. Have you ever chatted with your faceless cyberfriends in the Chat Room on the Internet?
  3. Have you ever had chatted with some weird faceless cyberfriends?
  4. If you do, what are you going to do to deal with the situation?
  5. Tell one risk that might happen by surfing the Internet.
  6. Do you know the cybersafety rules that are listed in the article?
  7. If yes, do you follow these rules?
  8. Which rule do you think is the most important to you?
  9. How are you going to use Internet safely and wisely?
  10. Tell your experience of using Internet. What are the benefits (list three) and what are the possible dangers (list four)?

Part II

• Go to the Net Smartz site. You will find several stories of problems that people have had using the internet. Pick any one of the stories listed. Listen to the information. Answer these questions:

Write a one paragraph summary of the important information found in the story that you chose.
Write a one paragraph description telling you reaction to the clip. Think of these questions:
What parts of the clip are the most important to remember?
What parts of the clip were the most surprising?
List three cautions that were indicated by the clip.
