Back to Movie Clip Page
Instructions:
- Open Adobe Flash CS3 Professional
- Select Adobe AIR 2
- Open House.fla
- Click Insert > New Symbol > Name: treeTrunk1> Type: Movie clip > Click OK

- Use Line Tool, Oval Tool or other Drawing Tools to draw a leaf in the middle of the stage.
- Click Modify > Group
- Click in frame 2 of the movie clip. Then right-click and choose Insert to Keyframe. Frame 2 of the movie clip is now the same as frame 1.
- Click Free Transform Tool >Move the Center Point from middle to the bottom.
- Drag the upper right condor to the right.
- Click in frame 3 of the movie clip. Then right-click and choose Insert to Keyframe. Frame 3 of the movie clip is now the same as frame 2.
- Drag the upper left condor to the left.
- If you would like additional frames, follow the previous two steps to add the frames.
- Close the movie clip by clicking on Scene 1 above the stage.
- Click Insert > New Symbol > Name: Tree> Type: Graphic > Click OK
- Use Drawing Tools to draw a tree trunk and some branches.
- Open the library. Click Window > Library.
- Drag the movie clip leaf from the library to the Tree symbol.
- Draw the tree symbol to the state.
- Test your movie by clicking Control > Test Scene or Test Movie (or Ctrl+Enter).
- If you want more copies of the movie clip on the stage, drag additional movie clips from the library to the stage.
