AP - Marine Biology Simulation Pt 1

Complete the following exercises. Send all answers to me via email . Use complete sentences and proper grammar/spelling in your answers. Where needed insert an image into your document. The subject of the email should be apcsmbspt1. Be sure to keep a copy in your FirstClass account.

1. From the Resources page of the APCS website, go to College Board AP site.  Click on the Case Study link. Read through the webpage and dowload the zipped file called Complete Download.  Place the unzipped file  into your Documents folder. 
   
2. Read through the Index.html page inside the  JavaMBS folder.
3. To install the BlueJ Version go to http://www.bluej.org/help/ap.html.  Navigate to Option#1 Getting a Ready Made Version of Seperate Projects. Follow the directions and download the BlueJ Code folder.  Replace the Code folder inside the JavaMBS Folder with the BlueJCode folder.
4. When you get it set up and have clicked Compile, right-click on the MBSGUI class and invoke the main method. Just click OK to start the simulation. To open environment files, click on the File menu and navigate to the Data Files folder in the MBS folder.
5. The PDF file inside the JavaMBS folder contains the exercises.  Read Chapter 1 of the Case Study (pp. 9 – 17) and answer of the Exercise and Analysis questions from Chapter 1.
   
4. Read Chapter 2 of the Case Study (pp. 18 – 26) and complete Worksheet Ch 2. 18-26  ((Skip the Exercise and Analysis Question Sets in the Chapter)
