The purpose of making a web site is to store information and share information with others. Take a quick look at Yuhong’s Home page.

1.Create a Site for your Web pages

Local vs Server
Create Local Site
Configure setting for server

 2. Create a first page (called index page)

index.html  (html vs. htm)
Title
Make a table, including the following contents:

Home

Introduction

Resume

Achievements

Subjects

3. Create a second page (Introduction)

Introduce yourself and your web page
Color, size, formatting, and style
Lists – number & bullets
Spelling check
Background color
Background image

 4. Create a third page (Subjects)

 Making a table, including the following contents:

English

Math

Social Study

Tech Tools

5. Create a fourth page (Pictures)

Insert three or four pictures that are downloaded from Internet.

6. Link all of the pages together.

Text Link to another web page – somewhere on the web

7. Save all of the pages in your Site.

8. Publish them on the Internet.
