Chongqing is well-known for its education and culture. There are many famous colleges and universities there. I am lucky to have good education. I majored in English as a second language in college and had become a teacher of English after graduation. In 1993, I dreamed of becoming a lawyer and decided to go to a law school. After 3 years' good efforts, I got my law degree. However, after working part-time in a law firm for about a year, I found that my real interest was still in teaching. I missed the smiling faces of my students. In 1996, I went back to the graduate school to specilize in English literature and I earned the Master Degree of Education in English Literature in 1998.
In 1999, I left my hometown Chongqing and came to America to do my research in Nathaniel Hawthorne in the University of Maine. I was so amazed at the computer technology in the university that I decided to pursue computer education. I got my M. Ed in Instructional Technology in 2001.
I enjoy being a computer teacher at Noble High School. I like to update my knowledge by going back to school once in a while. I have taken six more computer courses after the graduation. I am planning to keep taking classes and become a life-long learner.
